Openfields Home has no accounts, no analytics and no tracking. Everything it shows is public on the Terra chain.

When you view an address

  • The address is sent to our server, which reads that address’s balances, positions, votes and history from public Terra endpoints (PublicNode, Polkachu, Cosmos Directory and Stakely) and keeps the answer in memory for up to a minute so it is not read twice. Addresses are not written to disk or to our logs; the logs hold counts per minute.
  • To stop floods, the server counts requests per visitor’s IP address for a minute, in memory only.
  • The ✦ in Openfields Stake and Swap sends the connected wallet’s address to the same server, to list what waits for it. The same rules apply.
  • If our server cannot answer, your browser reads the same public endpoints itself; they see your IP address, as any website does.
  • Prices come from Openfields Swap’s public price list.
  • An Injective address is read by your browser itself, from public Injective endpoints (PublicNode, Polkachu and Injective’s own), with prices from Injective’s own markets. They see your IP address, as any website does.

Your wallet

  • Openfields Home never sees your keys. Your wallet (Keplr) signs, and has its own privacy policy.
  • On a phone, connecting Keplr Mobile from another browser goes through WalletConnect’s relay, which has its own privacy policy.
  • The address of the wallet you last connected is kept in your browser, so the page can show it; disconnecting removes it.
  • If you show your Injective account, Keplr gives its address (only the address), and it is kept in your browser so the next visit shows it; switching accounts in Keplr removes it.
  • Transactions you approve are public and permanent on Terra, as every transaction is.

Cookies and hosting

  • Before each approval the page checks your country; the answer is kept in two cookies for a day. When you connect a wallet, one more cookie on openfields.app remembers which wallet it was (not your address), so the other Openfields apps can connect it again; disconnecting replaces it, and it lasts 30 days. There are no other cookies.
  • The typeface is served from this site, so opening a page sends your address to no one else.
  • The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps short-lived request logs (including IP addresses) to run and protect the service.
